Lead Early Years Assessor

LSCS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced freelance Early Years Assessor in the Ilford area for a leadership role. This is a flexible position that can be tailored to fit your current commitments. As the Lead Assessor, you will be responsible for creating processes and targets for assessors to ensure that they are responding to students in a timely manner.
In addition to your leadership duties, as the Early Years Assessor, you will be accountable for visiting Early Years settings to conduct observations and assessments. Your responsibilities will include observing learners in their workplace, recording and mapping assessment decisions based on learners' competencies and qualification requirements, conducting professional discussions with learners, utilizing an e-portfolio system to monitor and track learners' progress, and motivating and inspiring learners in the early years.
To be considered for this leadership role, you should possess an assessor qualification, experience in early years, and a minimum level 3 qualification in childcare and early years. Additionally, a valid and clean enhanced DBS check is required.
**Job Types**: Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 18 months
