We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Technology faculty and we have a new role available as a Brickwork Lecturer. In recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength and we are now at the forefront of vocational education. You will need a Level 3 Construction qualification or equivalent and up-to-date experience in education/training or proven industry experience. You must hold a relevant teaching qualification or be committed to obtaining one at level 5 (e.g Diploma in Education/DTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE) within the first 3 years of employment. You must hold a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain within 18 months of employment.

The work we do in Construction is essential in supporting local businesses. We work with a huge range of companies to make sure our qualifications and curriculum offer meet the industry’s needs. We cover brickwork, groundworks, carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating and technical/professional construction and we have a first-class track record of working with employers on successful apprenticeship programmes.
