Warehouse Operative

**We are recruiting for a warehouse operative to join our Order Management / Receiving team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be working in a team responsible for the receipt and inspection of deliveries into the business and supporting the picking and preparation of telecoms equipment.**

Working hours: Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700.

**Salary**: £21,500 per annum. Location: Dominic House, Blackfriars Rd, Nailsea BS48 4DJ.

**As a Despatch Warehouse Operative you will need to have**:

- High Level of focus and attention to detail.
- Checking goods received against delivery paperwork.
- Receiving and receipting of stock.
- Pick equipment in line with internal requirements
- Clean and prepare equipment.
- Knowledge / experience of using software packages.
- Confident with repetitive manual handling (Able to lift items up to 25kg).
- Able to load and unload vehicles.
- Physically fit to work and stay on feet during working hours. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Y**ou**

Ideally you will have a background in a good’s inwards role or distribution warehouse environment, good understanding of Health & Safety and a general awareness of operational procedures.
A proven track record of high attention to detail, whether through previous work roles or studying and excellent communication skills is an advantage.

- Handling deliveries from third party carriers.
- Checking and inspecting goods delivered into the business.
- Inspecting and preparing goods prior to locating.

- Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures.
- Load and unload vehicles when required.

**As an Inventory Warehouse Operative, you will need to have**:

- Experience in stock/equipment inventory.
- Checking goods received against business system correctly.
- Ensuring stock is always accurate within warehouse locations.
- Knowledge / experience of using software packages, including Excel.
- Confident with repetitive manual handling (Able to lift items up to 25kg).
- Able to load and unload vehicles.

**We are recruiting for a warehouse operative to join our Shipping team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be working in a team responsible for helping to accomplish the companies on time delivery for orders packed telecoms equipment and shipped daily.**

**As a Despatch Warehouse Operative, you will need to have**:

- High Level of focus and attention to detail.
- Shipping/Despatch experience.
- Knowledge / experience of using carrier and general software packages and IT systems.
- Confident with repetitive manual handling (Able to lift items up to 25kg).
- Able to load and unload vehicles.
- Wrapping pallets and packing goods to a high standard.
