**Job Description**:
**AECOM’s **Data and Analytics Business Intelligence (BI) Lead will manage the strategic and technical implementation of BI solutions developed by the Data and Analytics team which is part of the Digital Consultancy Service offering within Europe.

As Data and Analytics BI Lead the role will entail client engagement, development of client BI architecture and BI solutions. The Data and Analytics BI Lead will also provide and support contributions to digital consulting and teams across business lines.

As the Data and Analytics BI Lead, you will be expected to have close relationships with AECOM global partners in IT to define and support strategic direction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, build, verify, and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools) by creating visualisations and reports
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms
- Taking ownership, meeting deadlines, whilst building exceptional quality outputs
- Designing and delivering excellent user interfaces, based on a sound understanding of UX. Championing UI/UX principles
- As well as hands-on technical support, the role provides knowledge transfer to wider organization stakeholders and is a point of contact when answering questions around Power BI
- Excellent communication and collaboration to deliver IT and business strategic goals; and the translation of the strategy into a comprehensive and flexible Data Architecture and BI solutions
- Responsible for production of high-level solution designs including non-functional requirements
- Develop and promote standard architectures, frameworks, and technology platforms for reuse
- Providing technical leadership, expertise, and direction for BI
- Rigorous strategic analysis of architectural issues
- Work in collaboration with Data and Analytics Lead on technology roadmap for solutions
- Showcasing proof points and case studies
- Celebrating success

**Qualifications**:

- Degree-qualified, with a professional background in Software Development/BI management.
- Relevant data architecture experience, including ETL & MDM solutions
- Relevant experience with Data warehouse and related technologies
- Advanced SQL programming skills required
- Extensive experience with Power BI
- Knowledge and understanding of architecture management techniques in the areas of migration planning, implementation, change management and governance
- Experience in mentoring and coaching developers in technical and data architecture
- Experience of influencing non-technical executive stakeholders from around the business
- Experience of working with Azure DWH, Data factory and SSIS/Analysis Services.
- Familiar with some of the following technologies: SaaS; IaaS; PaaS (Software, Infrastructure, Platforms)
- Data Storage technology: SQL
- Microsoft technologies: DevOps; Windows 10; Office365; Power Platform
