The Stores and Purchasing Assistant will assist the Stores Manager with servicing requests from within the business as well as external suppliers whilst operating a clean and safe environment.

**Key Accountabilities Include**:

- Ordering stock and distributing accordingly
- Ensuring products are delivered and are to the correct standard
- Controlling all stock levels, stock management and ensuring accurate information is held
- Booking in supplier deliveries in accordance with the PO system
- Chasing overdue orders and resolving any issues reported
- Dealing with couriers at satellite sites
- Finding suitable goods and parts in a timely manner
- Will have experience a busy stores environment from a manufacturing or distribution background
- Will have IT skills and is familiar with stock control systems
- Will be honest, reliable and hard working
- Will demonstrate a positive attitude and hold high standards of their work
- Will have a keen eye for detail and is well organised
- Will have flexibility within the role
