Motorcycle Warehouse Operative

4th Dimension Innovation is a company specialising in Motorcycles within the Claims Management industry based in Egham, Surrey. As part of our continued growth we are looking for 1 more person to join our team of 9 warehouse operatives (stock controllers). **This role requires people who are physically able and confident to move motorcycles and have experience in doing so. The role requires you to move bikes around our various sites and on and off vans and use a fork lift truck (training can be given). **Working in a really friendly team, this role will require you to be self-sufficient, able to communicate with people across the business and physically fit enough to move bikes of all shapes and sizes. We are looking for people with a minimum of 6 months warehousing, salvage, stock or retail type experience and have a driving licence.

Using a PDA you will be responsible for record keeping, physical movement of motorcycles/motorbikes and parts, control and recording of personal effects, sorting and segregation of waste for recycling and assisting the FSHE Manager with the routine maintenance and inspection of facilities.

**Experience/Qualifications/Skills**
- Possession of a car licence and comfortable driving a long wheel-based van
- Fork-Lift experience/licence desirable
- Work well under pressure, in a physically demanding role - experience in moving heavy motorbikes helpful
- Self-motivated to work methodically, quickly and efficiently
- A problem solver with the ability to assume responsibility and act on own initiative
- Great eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to work accurately in a busy, fast paced environment
- Possession of a motorcycle licence is desirable
- Experience of working within and being compliant at all times with relevant regulations and legislation applicable to your role e.g. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
