Quality Assurance and Supporting Providers of CareA Local Authority based in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Registered/Service Manager to help support 2 independent providers that they have commissioned to provide care to 4 young people.HighlightsThispost will not involve any operational management. Rather the focus will be on contributing on an advisory basis and delivering quality assurance.The Local Authority have commissioned 2 independent providers to deliver the care to the service usersThe focuswill be to support the providers to ensure that recording is aligned and standardised as much as possible with oversight and guidance to improve qualityThese placement are unregulated, however the Local Authority is wherever possible to replicate processesfound in regulated placements.This post is based in the West Midlands between Birmingham and Manchester.This would be a locum contract with rates being negotiableThis is a unique post which will see you work as the link between the Local Authority and the2 Care Providers supporting the young people in their care. The post will see you work closely with the care providers to provide a quality assurance and development function to promote the young peoples welfare. You will be given a large degree of autonomyand will support the placements to follow processes which are usually found within a regulated placements such as having tight oversight and ensuring risk is assessed where necessary.
