Finance Business Partner required to join an independent Not for Profit organisation in the North West. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic and growing finance functionon a full-time, interim basis for 6 months.

As the Finance Business Partner you will be working with the Assistant Finance and Commercial Director across a number of directorates to increase financial capability alongside other duties below:
**Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner**
- Where required to deputise for the Assistant Director of Finance & Commercial in meetings and forums where financial input and challenge is required.
- To be a regular attendee in forums such as Portfolio Delivery Board, Finance & Commercial Management Team meetings and some directorate Management Team meetings
- Ensure that senior managers understand and are challenged about their use of resources to meet business objectives.
- Support the development of realistic budgets for Directorates which are based on operational plans and ensure that all resource needs are identified.
- Work alongside budget holders to agree forecasts which highlight significant financial risks and opportunities early and provide advice to ensure that risks and opportunities are fully understood so that mitigating decisions are taken.
- Build and maintain relationships with budget holders.
- Ensure that financial reports to senior management highlight key insights in a meaningful and understandable way

**Required skills and experience of the Finance Business Partner**
- Good awareness of UK accounting standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills, the ability to understand the drivers of business performance, identifying trends and opportunities to improve business and/or finance outcomes.
- A proven ability to work with senior colleagues to deliver improved performance, underpinned by excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to present information clearly.
- At least part Qualified through CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA or ICAEW and willing to work towards full qualification.
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong technical budgeting and accounting skills to ensure Treasury financial reporting requirements and International Accounting Standards are applied correctly.
