**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including care homes and home care environments. Your primary focus will be on assisting individuals with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing while adhering to care plans. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals are vital for success in this position.

**Duties**
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals in following their care plans and maintaining their health and wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient progress and any changes in condition accurately using IT systems.
- Drive to various locations as required for home care visits or patient appointments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
- Experience in home care or working within a care home environment is beneficial.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations.

Pay: £12.75-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 55 per week
