**One Love Choir Team Leader**

**Contract**:Fixed term - up to 10 months, 16 hours per week (Working pattern to be agreed on appointment)

**Salary**:£21,507.75 per annum (Pro rata £9,176.64)

**Location**:Wrexham

The Wrexham One Love Choir is part of the Choir with No Name (CWNN) family. The mission of CWNN is to enable homeless and marginalised people to make friends, build their confidence and skills, and find their place in society.

Working alongside the Service Manager and Choir Director, the Team Leader will be responsible for managing the Wrexham One Love Choir in accordance with this Job Description.

The Choir Team Leader will be based within Champion’s House in Wrexham and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team contributing towards the provision of a comprehensive range of services to people affected by substance misuse/homelessness issues/ mental health.

**Responsibilities**:

- Member recruitment and liaison_
- Ensure that all Covid regulations are effectively and appropriately fulfilled and that risk assessments are undertaken and completed as required.
- Recruit choir members, help them make friends, build their confidence, and create an enjoyable atmosphere.
- During work hours and at rehearsal, be the first point of contact for potential and existing choir members.
- Develop local partnerships across the homelessness, substance misuse and mental health sectors, to ensure all relevant Wrexham services are actively encouraging their service users to attend.
- Build good knowledge of local services to be able to signpost members to appropriate services where necessary.
- In consultation with the Service Manager, Choir Director, arrange, promote, and manage appropriate gigs and events to help promote the Choir and the members accessing the service.
- Fundraising and Communications_
- With support from the Service Manager and Adferiad Recovery Business Development Team, develop partnerships help to forge relationships with potential local funders (e.g. businesses, local individuals) and grant providers, in order to raise money for the choir.
- Supporting service Manager to Contribute to measuring the social impact of our work through conducting appropriate member surveys and compiling the results.
- Prepare regular updates for Adferiad Recovery and the CWNN to be included on national communications and get involved with communicating your successes to your local community (via a newsletter and social media).
- Volunteer Management_
- Line mange and support all choir volunteers with support from Adferiad Recovery’s Volunteer Manager.
- With the support of Adferiad Recovery’s Volunteer Manager, be responsible for ensuring that DBS checks are carried out on choir staff and volunteers as appropriate.
- Liaise with Adferiad Recovery’s Training Manager and CWNN to commission regular training sessions for volunteers.
- Administration_
- Liaise with rehearsal venue/s and upcoming local events.
- Report to service Manager, Champions House regularly on choir activities.
- Liaise with and inform other agencies/line managers as directed by Adferiad Recovery.
- Attend Adferiad Recovery meetings as directed.
- Attend informal and formal review meetings as identified and agreed with the Manager Champions House
