The Public Area Cleaner will work as part of the housekeeping team to make sure we provide clean and fresh rooms to all our guests. They will be able to do this by being fanatical about delivering high standards when cleaning, providing spotless rooms and public areas. You’ll be making beds and cleaning bathrooms, reporting any damage whilst keeping yourself, the team, and our customers safe. You will also need to respond to guest requests. You will be require to work evenings between 14:00-23:00.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and property in your assigned work area
- Accountable for achieving and exceeding our high cleaning standards
- To maintain and clean hotel public areas including stairs, entrances, corridors, reception areas, function rooms, fitness suites, ballroom and pre function area
- To maintain and clean back of house areas including linen store rooms, office spaces, and staff areas
- To clean and maintain public area toilets on all floors
- To report any maintenance issues or faults using the company process
- Ensure all cleaning products are always stored safely and securely in line with COSHH
- To comply with Health and Safety policies
- Provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times

**Skills and Experience**:

- Housekeeping/Cleaning experience within a hotel is desired but not essential
- Willingness to work and follow instruction
- Ability to work under pressure with strong organisational skills
- Confident, professional, and welcoming personality
