**Civil Engineering Project Manager (Intermediate level), Kent, £45,000 -£55,000 per annum plus bonus & benefits;**
This position will suit a civil engineer or construction professional who wants to develop their project management expertise. A background in developer led infrastructure, highways, roads, drainage, rail or similarly aligned civil engineering experienceis preferred. This is an opportunity working directly for a prestigious client organisation that will provide invaluable management and commercial experience.
**The Company**: Our client owns and manages a substantial, expanding estate with extensive infrastructure that includes roads, bridges, pavements, drainage, buildings and specialist logistics facilities.
**Your Role**: Working within the in-house development team your input will commence at project proposal stage, you will help analyse the viability of proposed infrastructure projects from a commercial and practical perspective, providing adviceon risks and potential benefits. You will work closely with the commercial team to help specify strategic objectives and to define project scope and cost. You will provide client side project supervision support and work closely with external consultants,contractors and internal stakeholders.
**Your Background**: A degree in civil engineering or construction management, or equivalent. Five or more years work experience, which should have a civil engineering focus that includes an element of management/ project delivery. Experienceof working on the NEC form of contract and an appreciation of health and safety and risk management. Holder of a UK driving licence and eligible to work in the UK.
