If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant who will manage the day to day functions of the finance department ensuring that all invoices are paid on time and that all payments due are received. LendingMetrics is one of the UK’s leading providers of financial technology, working in partnership with both Experian and Equifax. We offer a diverse range of decisioning software and data services to the online lending industry in both the UK and Australia. We primarily supply services to UK clients, however, we have ambitious plans for growth and are looking to expand into new territories overseas.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing all sales and purchase invoices on to the finance system
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
- Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
- Processing of bank transactions on to the finance system
- Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
- Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
- Maintain an orderly account filing system
- Issuing contract letters to customers upon certain triggered contract inception dates
- Maintaining the invoicing calculations and logs as well as raising customer invoices
- Issuing supplier ISO compliance documentation and updating the system supplier status as applicable
- Daily cashflow forecast updates using the template provided
- Sales order processing as required by your line manager
- Setting up and monitoring projects on the finance system
- Processing of timesheet entries on to the project system
- Updating Asana (replacement to the global database) in a timely manner
- Supplier and statutory payments as required
- Illness and absence cover where applicable for payroll and month end primary closure report extracts
- Support statutory reporting as required including VAT and payroll reports
- Collation of data as required for further analysis and review

**Key Skills, Competencies & Experience**
- AAT Level 3 qualified or equivalent (essential)
- Good attention to detail and high numerical skills
- Up to date knowledge of PAYE legislation
- Experience using Sage payroll systems (desirable)
- Previous payroll/accounts experience (desirable)

Any other industry recognised qualification would also be an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
