**The Role**: Risk & Compliance Lawyer

**Contract**: Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £85,000 per annum

Our client, an international law firm, are looking for a Risk & Compliance lawyer who has a minimum of 3 years’ risk management experience gained within a legal services environment to join their firm.

**The role will involve the following**:

- Providing regular advice on professional responsibility and compliance issues
- Ensuring compliance is met with the SRA code of conduct
- Identifying risks and managing them appropriately within the firm
- Supporting the Risk & Compliance Manager in both the UK and overseas department
- Supporting the team with the firm’s AML, Sanctions and ABC processes, policies and procedures
- Providing risk and compliance training firm-wide and leading the implementation of new legislation and rules

This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running and is willing to work with lawyers and support staff at all levels/jurisdictions. Strong academic results are a must along with being able to handle complex complaints from clients with mínimalsupervision.
