Payables Assistant

Please note this is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in Haywards Heath office.

**Purpose of the job**

A role within the busy Payments team. The role will assist the Payments team with their daily and weekly tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist production of daily payment runs.
- Vendor clearing/reconciliation
- Input invoices into the finance system
- Assist with payment queries - both suppliers and claimants.
- Provide proof of payments/remittances as required
- Assist with various ad-hoc tasks across the payments team

**Knowledge, skills and experience required**
- Good Excel skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, but also capable of working on own initiative.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately complete tasks while meeting key deadlines.
- Problem solving skills
