Fashion Copywriter

**What is the role**

The Fashion Copywriter provides an essential role in the day-to-day running of the website and marketing activities. Working between all three brands they will execute tasks which provide the basis of an e-commerce website. Working closely with the Trading Co-Ordinators and marketing team in order to drive traffic and sales, and improve user experience through the platform. An interest in fashion marketing and a desire to work within the fashion industry is essential.

**What you will do**
- Assist day-to-day website running ensuring messaging is up-to-date and relevant, products are easily merchandised and highlighting any glitches to the development team.
- Complete product administration tasks such as ‘build the outfit’ and ‘mix and match’ to finish the visual merchandising of the product
- Assist in set up of promotional launches. This includes, but not limited to, creating banners for products, amending promotional text on site, setting up and testing promotional codes across the different websites.
- Writing briefs for landing page content so all pages are reflecting current trends whilst working with the SEO team to ensure each page is optimised.
- Writing blogs in line with the blog calendar for any of the brands.
- Amending the navigation on both desktop and mobile in line with high converting product categories, with the direction of the team.
- Optimising on site search results to improve conversion rates on top performing search terms and product categories in line with seasonal changes and trends.
- Conduct regular analysis of competitor messaging, including homepages, marketing activity and delivery solutions to ensure we are always competitive within the market. Also conducting regular industry analysis so the whole team is aware of what is happening in the market as a whole, not just from a promotional perspective
- Engage with the buying team to be always aware of new product lines or ranges coming in and how this can dictate marketing activity or photoshoots into the coming months.
- Executing new customer acquisition campaigns across the website and marketing channels to achieve new sign ups.
- Writing content for both app stories and app notifications to drive traffic and revenue through these channels.
- Conducting day-to-day maintenance of the affiliate channel including recruitment of new affiliates, building relationships with top performing affiliates and analysing their performance**.**

- A-Level or equivalent in English Language would be beneficial but is not essential
- Basic knowledge of SEO would be beneficial but is not essential
- Understanding of usability and user experience online
- Basic IT skills required
