**Role description**

Support the MOD SATCOM Skynet 6 Senior Supply Chain Manager as an experienced Supply Chain professional delivering SCM expertise for hardware and software within an operational role.

To deliver:

- Report to and work under the direction of the SATCOM Skynet 6 Senior Supply Chain Manager
- Analyse asset and inventory data
- Produce asset and inventory reports
- Assess contractor provided asset and inventory reports
- Liaison with equipment support managers as required and wider internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain configuration control and audit trails for asset data
- Work with MOD base inventory management systems
- Produce status reports

**Essential experience/qualities**

Must have current Security Clearance (SC minimum).

Good knowledge and demonstrable experience using MOD base inventory management systems i.e. SS3 and MJDI.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Good stakeholder management and organisational skills in a remote working environment.

Very proficient using MS Excel.

Proficient using MS Powerpoint, MS Word, MS SharePoint, Skype & MS Teams.

Excellent attention to detail.

Basic understanding of configuration management.

Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams in a high-pressure high-tempo environment.

**Desirable experience/qualities**

Has worked for the MOD before in a SCM capacity.

DV security clearance.

Good knowledge and demonstrable experience using MOD base inventory management systems i.e. BIWMS, CRISP & JAMES.
Good knowledge and demonstrable experience of MOD financial and materiel accounting systems e.g. ISOPS & Miranda.

Good knowledge of SCM for IT and communications based equipment.

Experience

Experience working as part of an ILS team within Defence.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills in a remote working environment.
Highly proficient using MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word, SharePoint, Skype & Teams.
Excellent understanding of configuration management.
