We are looking for a **Marketing & Communications Advisor** to join ICR, based in our Aberdeen office.

The main purpose of this role is to support the successful implementation of the marketing and communications strategy for ICR. As well as helping to maintain the positive positioning of ICR internally and externally in line with brand guidelines and the overall company strategy.

This role will report to the Head of Marketing & Communication.

**The main tasks involved in the role will include, but are not limited to**:

- Support the implementation of an effective communications and marketing strategy.
- Support the overall delivery of communications and marketing activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key areas of the business as well as suppliers, venues and key stakeholders.
- Ensure familiarisation with the ICR brand guidelines, maintaining and developing knowledge and awareness of the use of the brand.
- Support the development of the company brand internally and externally, in line with brand guidelines and the business strategy.
- Work as a part of the communications and marketing team to deliver clear and consistent internal and external communications which reflect the ICR brand and company tone of voice.
- Copywriting and support the development of a large range of integrated communications and promotional materials including employee communications, intranet articles, internal webinars and townhalls, social media posts, marketing materials, brochures, case studies, presentations and marketing campaign materials.
- Assist in maintaining web content and executing social media strategies.
- Support the co-ordination of internal and external events including exhibitions and conferences, client engagement and staff engagement activities to ensure smooth running and organisation.
- Administration support including working with key marketing suppliers maintaining marketing materials matrix and media lists and sharing master marketing materials online.

**Key Skills, Experience & Attributes**:
The Marketing & Communications Advisor should have a flair for creating varied and engaging content with the ability to relate to internal and external stakeholders. A positive 'can-do’ attitude to work effectively to develop and maintain strong relationships with individuals at all levels. Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads, as well as strong attention to detail is also essential for this role.
- Degree qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field is essential.
- Experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of marketing, communications, media relations and digital media strategies
- Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with content management systems
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro etc) (desirable)
- Excellent communication abilities (oral and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Organisational skills
- SharePoint experience is desirable
