Metro Production Group is one of the UK’s leading creative production companies and has over 40 years’ experience in delivering authentic, dynamic and inspiring events, exhibitions, video and broadcast projects across the UK and globally.

We are looking for an Event Production Assistant to work within one of our key client teams to support the delivery of global live events, exhibitions and broadcasts from creative concept through to delivery.

We are looking for a pro-active, self-motivated individual who is punctual, reliable and who adopts a flexible mind-set and approach to their work. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and be an effective team member and communicator.

This role will provide an excellent insight into a diverse world of event, exhibitions and broadcast with opportunity for travel.

The role will include, but is not limited to;
- Assisting production manager with a wide range of event related administration duties including management of inbound enquiries and meeting scheduling
- Responding to client enquiries and managing deadlines
- Coordinating agendas for team and client meetings
- Providing office support in the control of all aspects of project management, e.g. client liaison, supplier liaison, preparing purchase orders and invoicing
- Preparing and formatting quotations and proposals
- Booking travel: hotels, flights etc.

**Requirements for the role**:

- Would suit somebody who has provided some office or executive support.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office Packages: Excel, Word, PPT is desirable
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent written skills
- A self-starter who is highly articulate and organised
- Ability to communicate with people of all levels
- A team player, capable of working independently on assigned tasks
- Comfortable with dealing with demanding clients, instinctively helpful
- Some travel may be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
