Morningside Pharmacy has been successfully running pharmacies in the Midlands for over 30 years. We are a family-run, group of 8 independent pharmacies that have a strong relationship with our local communities based on care and great customer service. This role is to ensure the smooth running of the buildings and operations in the chain.

The role reports into the Chief Operating Officer and the main functions are:
Supporting the COO to do central operations projects and activities including maintenance support, driver operations management, launching new initiatives and supporting the stock procurement process. Training will be provided where necessary. It’s a hands-on role and you will need to have a full driving license and access to a vehicle.

You must have pharmacy experience working as a dispenser ideally with a qualification (NVQ 2/3) or in training currently. Sometimes troubleshooting will involve using these dispenser skills working across different branches fixing short-term workload issues or blockages.

You will need to have confidence, be a team player, enjoy variety, be self-motivated, with good customer skills and the ability to communicate well with team members and patients. Strong IT skills will be important too.

You will be required to work a total of 40 hours a week. We will agree the working patterns after a discussion with you to ensure they meet your needs too. We will also on occasion offer extra overtime.
