We have an exciting opportunity for two new Health Care Assistants (HCA's) to join our team.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will help to improve the medical care of patients by carrying out simple clinical observations and investigations, such as dipstick, blood pressures, phlebotomy, annual review tests and NHS health checks. You will also provide administrative and patient contact support as directed by the management team.

Previous experience in a health care setting is desirable, although any required training will be provided.

Any required training will be provided, and you will work under the supervision of registered clinicians for clinical tasks. The HCA must ensure that they work within and recognise their scope of practice, escalating any concerns to a senior clinician as appropriate.

Qualifications
- Essential
- Educated to GCSE grade A-C equivalent in Maths and English

Desirable
- Qualified in Phlebotomy
- NVQ level 2 in health and social care or equivalent; or working towards this qualification

Experience -Essential
- Administrative experience
- Experience for working with the public

Desirable
- Experience of working in a primary care or NHS setting

Essential
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and lates
- Pre-Employment Check Clearance including Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Ability to travel between GP practice sites

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
