Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for negotiating prices with key supplier’s, to key department’s specifications. You will also be responsible for placing orders, processing payments and expediting accordingly. As a Buyer you will play a critical role within Flogas, as profitability can be affected by how successfully you undertake your work. You will manage a specific supplier/product base, maximizing value by negotiation lowest cost as well as manage the performance of supplier’s services and products.

**The Role**:

- Managing specific suppliers/products and developing clear price structure
- Managing stock and suppliers across all departments, developing clear price structures, including cost down and cost avoidance strategies.
- Monitoring slow moving stock and take necessary actions action to
- Updating and maintaining specialist computer software.
- Resolve invoice queries as and when required. Goods receipt notes for invoices

**About You**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent with a proven track record in delivering a comprehensive engineering products and services.
- Experience in vendor management (selection, contract negotiation and performance review).
- Experience of preparing financial proposals and business cases
- CIPS qualified
- Good PC skills with excellent Microsoft Office abilities
