A top highly regarded, international law firm are looking for a Partnership Tax Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

As the Partnership Tax Manager, you will assist the Global Partnership Tax and Payroll Director with the firm's tax compliance requirements.

Your duties will also include
- Ensuring that the firm meets all of its tax compliance (both partnership and corporate) obligations in the firm's EMEA locations.
Liaising with the US tax team on issues that cross into US tax matters.
Ensure that the annual tax reserve reconciliations are kept up to date.
HMRC Liaison including the annual HMRC CSM meeting.
Ensuring that the firm's VAT compliance is kept up to date including reviewing of the quarterly VAT returns.
Ensuring that the firm's transfer pricing policy and documentation remain up to date.
Ensuring that withholding taxes are minimised.
Liaising with external tax advisors
Liaising with partners' tax advisors to ensure their tax filing obligations are met.
Dealing with partners' questions regarding the firm's profit allocations that are included within their tax returns in the various locations where tax returns are required.
Acting as a sounding board to the Partnership Accounting Advisor in relation to partner accounting matters.
Discussions and meetings with new and retiring partners in relation to their tax affairs with the firm.
Assisting with ad hoc projects as they arise.
To be successful in this Partnership Tax Manager role you must have
- Substantial experience in working in the professional services sector and ideally within a law firm environment.
A good understanding of international taxes including the interaction with US taxes.
It is highly advantageous to have the CTA qualification.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with senior management.
Trustworthy with the ability to deal with confidential information, with a high level of discretion and diplomacy.
