Job Title: Fleet Co-ordinator
Reports to: Head of Finance
Location: Head Office - Birkenhead
Starting Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
Job Purpose: To manage the company vehicle fleet day to day, including any breakdowns and accidents, ensuring drivers are kept on the road as far as possible at all times.
Working hours are 8am - 4.30pm with the requirement to take out of hours calls.
**Responsibilities**:
- Liaise with our contract hire company (Birkenhead Van Hire) regarding company vehicle breakdowns, repairs and hire vehicles, maintaining records for damage, tyres, windscreens etc
- Manage fault and non-fault accidents alongside our contract hire company, ensuring insurance and records are kept up to date
- Update MID with vehicle additions and removals, and notify insurance of changes
- Manage Lightfoot devices in cars, checking for suspect disconnects, driver details maintained, driver checks and trackers
- Check for any drivers that have fallen into the Driver Intervention Programme and take action if required
- Spot check trackers of drivers who have opted out of personal mileage deductions
- Manage fuel cards ensuring all details and statuses of cards are correct
- Process mileage sheets and notify payroll of deductions, including routine spot checking
- Review contract end dates and spare vehicles in conjunction with Enforcement Agent recruitment and leavers to see if any new vehicles need ordering
- Manage de-fleeting of vehicles
- Complete annual DVLA license checks for all drivers of company vehicles including spouse (if applicable), ensuring follow up of any requests for action, such as address updates.
- Complete quarterly DVLA checks for drivers with 6+ Points on their licence
- Conduct an annual Driver Eyesight Check for all drivers, when required
- Ensure all drivers complete an annual Driver Metrics Assessment refresher
- Ensure all vehicles in Fleet sheet are in the P11D sheet and it reflects personal allowance usage
Experience Required
- Experience in the Car Hire or Vehicle industry
- Fleet Management preferable
- Full UK Driving Licence
