The post will provide the fellow with the opportunity to work with the clinical lung cancer team at imperial and gain experience across the whole lung cancer pathway, at the same time as working within the new lung cancer screening service which is a collaboration between Inhealth, The Joint thoracic service (RMH and RBHT) and Imperial. The post will be held within Imperial.
A significant proportion of patients requiring intervention are on a lung cancer diagnostic pathway, and the Trust is currently working towards delivering the National Optimal Lung Cancer Pathway. The fellow will contribute towards this work by attending the weekly lung cancer MDT, contributing to a weekly lung cancer clinic as well as weekly respiratory intervention lists.
