We have a new role now available for an HR Advisor to join a HR team for a locally based production company in Salisbury.

The role is a position that will see you provide your business areas with HR support covering all aspects of advice and guidance on best practice, company policies, terms and conditions of employment and legislation

Key Responsibilities include:

- Reporting to the HR Manager and working with the rest of the HR team to implement the Company’s people strategy and implementing company wide initiatives. Acting as a point of contact for relevant business areas for all HR related queries. Providing advice,guidance and interpretation to operational departments on all people issues.
- Dealing with employee relations issues which include, but not limited to; disciplinary, grievance, performance management. In addition to administration this may include coaching, providing advice, considering best practice and evaluating risk in relationto the best course of action.
- Responsible for complete end to end recruitment practice including preparing and placing adverts, job descriptions, person specifications and interview scripts. Coaching and supporting line managers in interviews through to offer stage, providing a proactiveservice to hiring managers.
- Building line manager capability by providing a coaching role to the line managers ensuring they work closely with Supervisors and Team Leaders to ensure that individual performance levels are achieved ensuring consistency of approach, providing guidanceand support where appropriate.
- Pro-actively work with your business area ensuring employee absence processes are being adhered to in line with the absence management procedure, work with the OH team in managing short and long terms cases to resolution.
- Managing different scales of business restructures end to end, this could involve some element of consultation on an individual or collective basis. Working with employee representatives and management to get to a resolution.

Skills and Experiences our client are looking for:

- Have a good working knowledge of a manufacturing environment or a similar faced paced environment
- CIPD qualified - desirable
- Computer skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Must be able to perform a variety of duties being resourceful and maintaining flexibility
- Ability to focus and maintain attention to performance of tasks and to work and complete assignments on time despite frequent interruptions
- Effective communication - express or exchange ideas; must be able to verbally convey detailed instructions.
