Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Project Manager on a permanent basis for our prestigious client based in Runcorn.

**Location**: Runcorn

**Salary**: Up to £43,000 per annum

**Skills/requirements for the Project Manager**
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Data Cabling & IT industry.
- A detailed understanding of network cabling (Cat6, Cat6a, Fibre Optics), network topologies, installation methods and testing procedures.
- A high-level understanding of network hardware (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points) and how they interconnect within a network infrastructure.
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Be able to deliver timely and accurate updates to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless stream of communication.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collate accurate data and present it in a professional and clear format.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and a quick learner of bespoke internal systems.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of managing multiple teams of engineers on several concurrent projects.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Health & Safety certification (CSCS, ECS, CCNSG or equivalent).
- Leadership and Management qualifications (ILM L3 or equivalent).
- Project Management qualifications (PRINCE2, APM, Six Sigma or equivalent).
- High-level understanding of CCTV & Door Entry systems.

**The Project Manager will be responsible for**:

- Perform a variety of network & IT Project Management tasks within a mixture of environments, including but not limited to network cabling and hardware installation.
- Manage Projects around the UK and Europe for a wide variety of industries.
- Planning, scheduling and co-ordinating teams of installation engineers on a number of ongoing projects at any one time.
- Planning and scheduling project timelines to monitor and track installation progress.
- Manage project administration, including creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Tracking and reporting on project financial performance.
- Provide timely, accurate and unambiguous updates for project activities.
- Reporting regularly to senior management and managing client relationships.
- Track risks and issues escalating to senior management as required.
- Produce a range of technical documentation related to work carried out.
- Manage changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs.
- Provide quality assurance and measure performance of ongoing projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
