The UK/EU Travel Wording Specialist supports the Enterprise, the Product, and Compliance Department as a technical writer, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel document drafter that represents products from various underwriters for the IMG Travel products.

Their role is to assist the Portfolio Manager and Senior Wording Specialist with wording projects, updates, evaluate and provide input with development of new products, existing products, and the associated wordings per IMG and iTravel business needs. Establishedwording management will also encompass other specified portfolios of IMG business, their various benefits, and the Master Policies associated with individual long-term medical/long term group/ dental/life/ASO/short term travel medical but with the primaryfocus being on travel.

The Departments, the iTravel Wording Specialist, works with on a regular basis would be EPMO, Operations, Underwriting, Business Intelligence, Claims, Sales, Account Services, Legal, and Marketing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Wording Specialists’ primary tasks will be to assist in the process of the annual product calendar wording review and the creation/drafting of iTI wordings for new and existing product updates.
- Technical writing of wording to support a product’s benefits and their intent.
- Communicate with the various team members during the process.
- Report on the progress and assist to keep the calendar on schedule for specified launch dates.
- Memorialize historical tracking of changes made to the various plans in SharePoint.
- Create modification documents to support product training.
- Communicate with internal clients on outcomes from wording updates.
- Communicate with the carrier for approval of drafted documents.
- Publish wordings upon completion.
- Assign wordings to the document guidelines within Adminsys.
- Ensure the process follows standard operating procedures and SLA’s.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum (3) Years’ Experience in the UK or EU Travel Insurance Industry with emphasis on one or more of the following areas:

- Claims Examining
- Underwriting
- Sales or Benefit Design

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Project Management, Microsoft Office Products, Technical writing, Document Imaging, Documentation Skills, Data Entry Skills, Analyzing Information, Problem Solving, Verbal Communication, Organization an attention to detail, and the ability to comprehendcontracts and documents.
