You will be an expert in safeguarding adults and the mental capacity act, and be able to offer clear advice and guidance to the adult social care teams as well as our partners, on these areas of practice. You will also be able to develop training and present on these practice areas, to individual teams, the wider workforce during practice months and all staff webinars, and to partners through the Safeguarding Adults Board.
This role is an opportunity to develop your skills in understanding the broader strategic safeguarding issues that affect not only Adult Social Care, but our partners such as the Police, Hospitals and Mental Health. You will work with the Lambeth Safeguarding Adults Board, managing the Board Business Manager, and develop good relationships with partners so that there is a culture of enabling ‘whole system’ solutions to the complex issues that arise.
