East London Foundation Trust Corporate is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, Named Professional for Safeguarding Adults to join the Corporate Safeguarding Team. As a Named Professional you will have a key role in shaping our adult safeguarding agenda and work closely with Mental Health, Forensic, Primary Care and Community services in Hackney and Newham.

You will provide highly specialist advice, training and support to staff ensuring that there is appropriate assessment, planning and implementation of plans of care for adults at risk where safeguarding issues have been identified.

- To provide specialist safeguarding advice on the care, treatment and delivery of services for adults who are at risk of harm.
- To work in partnership with the named professionals for safeguarding children and deliver safeguarding adults within a ‘Think Family Approach ‘
- To champion the Trust safeguarding agenda by ensuring that Trust staff are appropriately trained and to effectively cascade practice and knowledge to teams throughout all Trust services
- To support staff through the Safeguarding process and provide excellence in the quality and delivery of services
- To formulate reports for the Associate Director.
- To model expert practice and to support staff to assess, plan, and implement safeguarding procedures.
- To deliver supervision.
- To lead on developing appropriate training material
