**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide knowledgeable support regarding products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the shop, including shelving and display areas.
- Prepare food items according to safety standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for pricing and change.
- Support stock management by assisting with inventory checks and restocking shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.

**Requirements**:

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; experience in food preparation is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels.
- A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred but not essential.

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
