Stock Controller/Production Administrator - Job Description

NO Uniform is a bespoke uniform design company that creates award winning looks and truly unique and sophisticated brand identities. The company’s clients are diverse and vary from historic five-star hotels in London to international and independent hotel groups, restaurants, private residences, and corporate and financial institutions.

The Stock Controller’s responsibilities at No Uniform include overseeing and maintaining inventory across the production department, controlling in-going and out-going stock, creating POs and tracking shipments. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with supply chain procedures and have good communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal teams. This role plays an integral part in increasing profitability and effectiveness within daily operations by continually maintaining inventory.

The role

**Responsibilities**
- Keep updated inventory records
- Organise and implement stock takes
- To work in close collaboration with the product developers to ensure all inventory is logged in and out on an ongoing basis along with supporting them with their pattern/fabric/trim inventory enquiry’s
- Raising POs and leasing with suppliers/finance dept. for purchasing
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out of stock
- Enter purchase details (vendors’ information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases
- Place orders to replenish workshop materials as and when required
- In charge of making sure that the right amount and type of inventory is always available
- Complete any national/international transfers as required
- Action all deliveries, ensuring stock is integrated and prioritised as directed
- Ensure purchases do not exceed budget
- The ability to multi-task and work as part of a team
- Excellent problem solving and numerical skills
- A flexible and committed attitude

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven work experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role
- Excellent excel skills
- Great organization skills
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Active participation in inventory audits
- Have high-level reporting skills: end-of-month results, stock take results
- Qualification in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
- Working knowledge of inventory management software is a bonus
- Attend and participate in all team meetings
- Experience of working in the garment manufacturing/apparel industry is a bonus, ideally from a luxury environment
- Carry out any additional duties as directed by the production director

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, SE16 4DG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Stock Control: 5 years (preferred)
