**This is the job** As Finance Manager, you will sit in the AA Roadside finance team, and partner with the Managing Director for Customer Operations and the Customer Operations management team.

You will provide financial support to the Managing Director for Customer Operations who manages a budget of £85m per year. This role will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of financial results, provision of budgets/forecasts, to work closelywith the Customer Operations management team to help achieve budgeted EBITDA and support with the identification and delivery of cost saving initiatives.

The role will also partner with the Head of Site for the Oldbury Indoor Operations team, providing all financial support for this contact centre. The role will manage the Finance Business Partner who provides financial support to the some of the other customeroperations site.

**What will I be doing?**:

- Overall financial responsibility for the Customer Operations division
- Provide analysis and understanding of monthly performance through variance analysis against the forecast/budget and present this information at monthly meetings.
- Partner with the Financial Reporting team to ensure accurate month end reporting, including P&L and balance sheet.
- Partner with the contact centre management teams, ensuring financial implications of all decisions are fully understood
- Forecasting and budgeting for all contact centres, ensuring full ownership of all budgets within the Customer Operations division.
- Ensure all contact centre financials and KPIs are aligned to the commercial strategy for the Consumer and Insurance businesses
- Improve financial performance by providing insightful analysis and challenging the business where necessary
- Create business cases and track benefits for any contact centre specific initiatives
- Work with the resource planning teams to ensure all resource plans and assumptions are accurate, understanding the financial impact of any changes
- Review discretionary spend lines within the contract centre P&L to ensure they are driving the desired customer and commercial outcomes (e.g. incentives)
- Understand the impact contact centre performance has on sales and renewal volumes and values, working with the Consumer and Insurance commercial finance teams to ensure all impacts are understood
- Support in the identification of opportunities or risks to planned financial out-turns by attending regular meetings with the contact centre management team.
- Support the Customer Operations management team with the identification and delivery of cost saving initiatives
- Manage and develop the Finance Business Partner reporting into this role

- Strong experience and background in an accounting/finance role

- Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a team environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to challenge and work up to exec level
- Ability to work at both an operational and strategic level

Education and Qualifications:

- Qualified accountant
