Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Residential Team Manager to join our teams within the Oxfordshire Region.

Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

Our residential homes are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences - for those we look after and for everyone in our team

**Our next Deputy Team Leader will be someone who has**:

- ** Mandatory**: Hold NVQ Level 3 or higher in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience working in care setting with young people
- A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
- The ability to work with young people in groups
- To work on own initiative and unsupervised
- Demonstrate own skills and abilities in providing out of school activities for young people
- Ability to produce an appropriate high standard of reporting and recording both written and electronically
- Significant knowledge of the needs of young people arising from SEN, attachment and trauma
- Significant knowledge of good quality residential care, children’s rights and safeguarding children.
- Knowledge of inspection regulations and frameworks

- Agreement will be in place stating if you leave within a specified amount of time you will be liable to repay part/all of the bonus payment. Payment of bonuses will be based upon meeting agreed conditions._
