**Contract Scotland are working with a social housing organisation to find an experienced Property Maintenance Supervisor on an initial 3-month contract. Your primary goals are to coordinate and oversee the maintenance function to ensure that it is operationally effective and sustainable.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating the day to day work of the maintenance, cleaning and repair service
- Manage the planned maintenance and redecoration programmes for the property portfolio, of both owned and rented properties
- Ensuring works are carried out to a standard in line with standards
- Ensuring all jobs are properly recorded, including the use of labour, materials, furnishings and consumables, and assist in the development of recording systems
- Undertaking inspections of work to ensure high standards and quality assurance
- Providing feedback to services and managers on schedule and completion of works
- Carrying out a range of maintenance activities including emergency and reactive repairs, planned maintenance and all appropriate works necessary
- Responsible for direct, day to day line management of Maintenance Team including absence and conduct.
- Develop good communication and working relationships with colleagues, services and customers
- Develop good communication and working relationships with approved contractors service providers and landlords.
- Have a high standard of professional integrity with colleagues and other professionals
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and report any safety concerns or incidents

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £16.50 per hour
