Enfield Wellbeing Network- Volunteer Champion

**The Role**
Enfield Wellbeing Network is a new project with Age UK Enfield, Mind and Enfield Carers Centre. The Health & Wellbeing Practitioners (H&WPs) work with individuals to define and set goals to improve their wellbeing.
Volunteer Champions work with H&WPs to support the running of the service and support individuals over the phone. It is a brief intervention that encourages a person to build confidence and new habits.
The Volunteer Champion will report to the H&WP.
**Time Commitment**:2 to 4 hours per week
**Between 9am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday**
**The Role Description**
This role includes working alongside members of the community that have contacted Enfield Wellbeing Network.
An H&WP will complete an assessment for a client and create an action plan that includes various activities and goals. The role of the Volunteer Champion is to:
- Call clients to check in on the progress of their action plan
- Arrange regular phone calls as appropriate; these are time limited to a maximum of 12 weeks with each client
- Feedback progress or concerns to the H&WP
- Review progress and work with the H&WP to ensure they have an exit plan
- Book assessment appointments and make follow up calls
- Attend events
- Provide administrative support

**Location**
Primarily at the John Jackson Library office with possibility of working remotely.
**Requirements**:
The volunteer may be required to travel around London Borough of Enfield and be able to work on their own. A DBS Enhanced check will be required. Training to be provided around safeguarding.
**Other Information**
Travel costs and other volunteering expenses will be covered.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Volunteer
Part-time hours: 2-4 per week
**Salary**: From £1.00 per year
