**SENIOR SUPERVISOR**

Menzies Distribution are looking for a Senior Supervisor to join our nights team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. Providing a first-class service with our team in Coventry, this role is based on a basic 40-hourweek working Monday to Friday.

**SENIOR SUPERVISOR DUTIES**
- Proactive operational and strategic management to ensure safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness aligned to KPI’s, service pledge and Company guidelines
- Review Business Improvement plans and agree action points and timelines to ensure increased efficiency and cost reductions
- Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity
- Liaise with our customers to ensure their expectations are met and we deliver a service to the highest standard
- Performance Reviews - defining and agreeing KPIs, timelines, Performance Goals for direct reports and that performance reviews are carried out for all grades within the remit of the role and are recorded appropriately.
- Maintain quality standards
- Support with all operational issues
- Ensure team productivity targets are achieved
- Provide training to all team members to ensure they are able to undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely
- Ensure all relevant paperwork for absence and sickness is managed accordingly
- Ensure any employee relations issues are managed and dealt with, with the support of HR
- Ensure all team members have completed the necessary Health & Safety training
- Carry out security spot checks on a daily basis in line with Company policy

**REQUIREMENTS**

- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience within a Parcels Distribution or Logistics supervisory position
- A proven track record of effective people management
- Experienced approach to prioritisation of daily tasks
- A common-sense approach to problem-solving
- Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a pressurised environment
- Comfortable working to strict deadlines
- Great communication skills
