An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Supervisor to join a large international business based in Liverpool City Centre, on an initial 12 month FTC (with a 99.9% probability of it becoming permanent)

My client is fast becoming one of the regions largest financial institutions. Based in the heart of Liverpool's business district, they have created over 100 new jobs in the last 12 months alone, and haven't finished yet

Primarily based from home, with the occasional journey into the office (once or twice per month) Responsibilities include:

- Management and review of team members work (VAT returns, payments, Bank Reconciliations, other ad-hoc duties).
- Supervise, allocate work and review outputs of treasury staff.
- Maintain and enhance all operational banking relationships.
- Support, coach, train and mentor junior members of the team.
- Undertake any process improvement projects required.
- We are looking for a well-organised individual with a professional level of communication and excellent time management. Other requirements include: _
- Strong Accounting Knowledge
- ACCA Part Qualified or equivalent degree/professional qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience from an accountancy practice (desirable).
- Experience with people and performance management (essential)
- Good stakeholder/client management skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using desktop and/or cloud accounting packages are desirable but not essential.

This role would suit someone with an accounts payable background who is experienced with VAT returns and staff supervision.
