A Treasury Analyst is being recruited to join a financial services business based in Liverpool.
**Client Details**

**Description**
The Treasury Analyst is vacant after an internal promotion, and will be responsible for:
- Accurately execute client time deposit instructions daily, liaising with investment management teams to advise on maturities and producing daily statistics on volumes.
- Reconciliation of closing time deposits positions to EXBO system.
- Execution of accounting journals for treasury on a daily basis in the SUN accounting system.
- Reconciliation of closing treasury book positions on WTMS treasury system to accounting nominals on a daily and monthly basis.
- Updating banking position on the WTMS system from different bank sources.
- Distribution of treasury book positions to operations teams detailing maturity, new investment and Calculate daily surplus funds available across the group for investment purposes and monitor intraday.
- Update client money diversification analysis daily, reporting exposures to risk appetites to the Finance Manager - Treasury.
- Daily calculation of prudential regulatory positions including capital requirements, counterparty credit risk, leverage, interest rate risk and liquidity.
- Support month end restatement of prudential positions and reporting of treasury movement to various committees.
- Maintain treasury procedures, reflecting changes as they occur and testing where appropriate.
- Provide ad-hoc additional support as and when requested by either the Head of Treasury or Finance Manager - Treasury
**Profile**
- Desire to work in an interesting treasury role
- Will consider graduates with relevant degree (Mathematics/Economics/Business/Accountancy degree) looking to gain experience
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to identify, investigate and escalate anomalies
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to organise own workload and work in a fast paced environment
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
