Housing Options Officer

Housing Advice and Homelessness has never been more challenging or exciting. The recent declaration of a Housing Crisis in both South Hams and West Devon has resulted in a renewed focus and drive to find creative and innovative solutions to housing need across our area.
Due to internal promotions and expansion of the team we are now looking to recruit a Temporary Housing Options Officer (3 year contract) to join our established team. We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team; and are experienced at building excellent working relationships with multiple agencies and disciplines, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers.
You will have a strong focus on customer service alongside the ability to think outside of the box and work effectively as part of a team. You will be able to manage difficult conversations, and have experience in delivering difficult messages effectively, whilst maintaining a good working relationship with clients and providing a supportive approach to the work.
We can offer genuine flexible working, with a significant proportion of the role to be homeworking.
IMPACT Band C
