Our client, a successful charity that prides itself on its accessibility and core values, are seeking to recruit a Payroll Officer in their Devon division which currently supports around 900 clients with paying their carer’s - whether agencies or personalassistants. As a Payroll Officer, you will be competent and proficient in all aspects of payroll. Furthermore, you must be detail-oriented, professional and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**As Payroll Officer, you will be**:
- Setting up new payrolls which will include registering them with HMRC and NEST.
- Processing 4 weekly and monthly payrolls and submitting RTI reports to HMRC within strict timescales.
- Production of reports for BACS payments and issuing payslips.
- Processing new starters and leavers.
**As Payroll Officer, you will need**:
- 2 or more years’ experience in payroll environment
- Understanding IRIS/QuickBooks software’s would be ideal but training will be provided
- Preferably AAT/ATT or CIPP qualified but not essential
**Package for Payroll Officer**:
- Salary: £21,000-£24,500 FTE depending on qualifications and experience
- Annual training allowance of £1,000 towards AAT/ATT or CIPP qualification may be offered
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holiday pro-rated.
