Area Sales Manager

Are you National Account Manager / Area Sales Manager with experience managing end user and distribution accounts? You will be both technically and commercially minded with the ability to solve technical issues on large scale packaging machinery.

**BASIC SALARY**: Up to £60,000

**LOCATION**: Home based role traveling throughout the UK - for reference head office is in Sheffield

**COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS**: You could be based from anywhere from Manchester to Bristol across to London and up to Leeds or anywhere in-between

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, National Account Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Packaging - Stretch Film

Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will be selling our unique stretch film products, via distributors and end users utilising our USP's to aid your mission. Travelling throughout the UK, 80% of your working week will be spent visiting prospectivecustomers with the remaining 20% of your time being spent with existing clients. You may be required to spend a night or two away.

As our Area Sales Manager / National Account Manager you will be expected to manage your own workload, however you will also need to get your hands dirty as this is a technical sell where specification and demonstration will form a large part of your salesprocess. Setting up and operating pallet wrapping machines will allow you to demonstrate the advantages of our products to decision makers.

Ideally you will be a technically minded sales professional with experience of the Stretch Film industry. either way you will be looking for a national role where you will be rewarded for hard work. In addition you will,
- Maintain a 50/50 split approaching industrial distributors and end users.
- Approach new end user targets within different industries - food, agricultural and industrial.
- Conduct trials setting up wrapping machines and amending technical faults to ensure performance.
- Pitch to buyers and production managers to secure business.

In addition you will,
- Be experienced in business development, managing prospective and existing sales accounts at a national level.
- Have a technical mindset and be able to set up machines and amend any technical issues for trials.
- Have experience selling similar industry products.
- Be commercially aware allowing you to add value to your sale through cost and waste reduction and through your CSR.
- Posses great time management skills.
