The pace of change is accelerating and with that, we are keen to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated Area Sales Manager to service our accounts in the following postcodes: MK, SG, LU, AL, WD, EN, N, E, IG, RM. Ideally you will live in or around Luton.

**What will I be responsible for?**

Joining our team as an Area Sales Manager, you will establish and develop relationships with prospects and customers within your designated area, taking responsibility for driving business performance and achievement of area sales targets. Other responsibilitiesinclude:

- Maintain excellent standards of customer service with new and existing customers
- Develop business through telephone contact, written correspondence, face to face appointments and attendance at exhibitions and shows
- Identify customer requirements and maximise selling opportunities to develop the accounts within your area
- Plan and carry out customer visits to a regular agreed schedule to ensure full coverage of your area
- Be aware of competitor activity within your area and report back to your Manager where appropriate

The role will involve daily travel to your customer base so applicants must hold a full, valid Driver's Licence

If you have proven sales experience as an Area Sales Manager with previous experience in hand and power tools, then this could be the ideal role for you You will also have the following skills and competencies:

- Target driven with a proven track record of overachieving on targets
- Exceptional negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Ability to present and promote the Company's products and services at all levels
- Good IT skills, proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programmes
- Methodical and highly organised
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
