**About Us**

Olympian Garden Buildings have been creating beautiful garden buildings since 1984. All buildings are designed and built by hand within our factory in Sandbach and we are renowned throughout Cheshire and beyond for our superior quality.

We are looking for a confident and hardworking person to join our small and friendly factory-based assembly team.

**The Person**
- Skilled ability to use hand and power tools.
- Competent working with measurements, dimensions, and technical drawings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment to meet deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and focused on delivering a quality product.
- Ability to follow operating procedures to ensure high standards are delivered.
- You will need to be physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items both on your own and with assistance
- Common sense and a practical approach to challenges.
- Good communication skills and self-confidence.
- Willing to develop & learn new skills within a manufacturing and factory environment.
- A reliable character with excellent time keeping.
- Experience in similar roles such as kitchen fitters, furniture assemblers etc will be considered alongside skills acquired in a private capacity.

**The Role**:
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Contributing to the production and assembly of all types of timber buildings, from small garden sheds to large bespoke designs.
- Using hand tools, power tools and machinery including nail guns, crosscut and panel saws, jigsaws, circular saws, routers and more. Additional training will be provided.
- Assembly of timber-framed sections.
- Fitting of windows and doors.
- Assisting with other elements of the build process where required.

**Further Details**
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday based on a 45-hour week with half an hour lunch break.
- Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
- Flexible to work occasional Saturdays and overtime during peak production times.
- Competitive pay.

We are based in Sandbach, CW11 3JA, within 1 mile of Sandbach train station and 3 miles from M6 J17.
