**Purchase Ledger Clerk, Doncaster**
As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for:
- Coding and posting supplier invoices to multiple ledgers
- Preparation of monthly BACS run
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Stock reconciliation
- Regular filing of all purchase ledger and other accounts documentation
- Daily sales invoicing
- Maintain KPI spreadsheets
- Balance sheet reconciliation and nominal analysis
- Provide cover for the Credit Controller at peak times
The Purchase Ledger Clerk will:
- Have excellent communications skills
- Be accurate with strong attention to detail
- Have good team working skills
- Have strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Have an analytical and methodical approach
- Shows initiative
Qualifications and experience of the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
- Minimum 2 years experience of purchase ledger in a similar position
- Previous experience of sales ledger desirable
- Experience of working with Microsoft office packages, Excel at intermediate level is preferred
- Previous experience of working with accountancy packages
In return, the Purchase Ledger Clerk will get:
- £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience
- 22 days holiday + stats with the chance to gain 2 further days per year, attendance dependent

The hours of work for the Purchase Ledger Clerk are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm. **PLEASE NOTE: there is a rota system for working additional hours at month end. Time given back in lieu
