**Internal Communication Specialist**

**Location**:Hybrid (3 days from home, 1-2 days in the Nottingham office)

**As an Internal Communication Specialist your main responsibilities would be**:

- Support to establish an internal communications strategy, ensuring organisational messages are produced in keeping with the goals of the project and values of the organisation.
- Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
- Formulate internal strategy in response to crisis PR situations.
- Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, newsletters, or bulletins.
- The person in this role will manage the delivery of DVSA’s key strategic communications, through campaigns and announcements within their assigned strategy theme area
- In addition, they will support significant internal ‘business as usual’ initiatives within DVSA in agreement with their line manager.
- They will manage the delivery of communications campaigns and products for internal audiences, working collaboratively with the Internal Communications and Engagement team, the business area they support, and Business Change.
- Ensure approach is agreed and deadlines are met.
- They will take the lead in providing accurate, consistent messages for colleagues and should have excellent drafting skills.
- They will be responsible for the development of communications plans including objective setting and evaluation to measure the effectiveness of the messages and channels employed

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Experience managing relationships and expectations, confident speaking and liaising with other people within the busines. Experience within SharePoint, Microsoft skills, teams, word,
- Communication planning
- Drafting communications

**Desirable skills**:

- Internal communication management
