Kennel Assistant

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs and cats.
- Clean and maintain kennels, ensuring they are hygienic and comfortable for the animals.
- Monitor the health and behaviour of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff.
- Assist with customer service duties, including greeting clients and answering questions about services.
- Support veterinary staff during examinations or treatments as needed.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks related to moving supplies or larger animals safely.

**Skills**
- Strong animal care skills with experience in handling various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and provide information about services.
- Basic knowledge of veterinary practices is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- A compassionate attitude towards animals and a commitment to their welfare.

Pay: £80.00-£90.00 per day
