Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Department: Finance
Reports to: Payroll Supervisor
Summary
An opportunity has become available for either a Full Time or two Part Time Payroll Administrators to join the Finance team at Stillington. They will work as a team to produce end to end weekly and monthly payroll from data capture to payment, Payroll reporting. In addition they will provide some support to the accounting team with supporting Accounts Payable and Finance.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Compile payroll data such as hours worked, overtime and absence data from the T&A system and upload into the payroll system for weekly and monthly payrolls.
- Calculate and process Average Holiday Pay, Company Sick Pay and Statutory payments
- Processing of Pension information, voluntary contributions and allowances and other admin duties relating to Auto Enrolment
- Processing Starters, Leavers and Transfers.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation, and perioding reports
- Review Accuracy of payroll with the Accountant and process to BACS system
- Administration relating to payroll creditors, pensions and HMRC Submission
- Assist Accounts Payable on Adhoc basis to process invoices
- Other support to the accounts department including supporting some administering of payments and other similar duties, as deemed appropriate in line with the scope, spirit and purpose of the role
Experience
- Previous experience working in a finance/payroll department is essential
- Experience of using a payroll system, IRIS Earnie IQ would be desirable
- Experience of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
- Ability to work flexibly and be responsible to changing demands
**Skills**:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under time constraints and deadlines, prioritising own workload.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
- Impartiality & Integrity key, with an ability to manage confidential data
- Excellent Communication skills
- IT literate, with experience of ERP systems
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including ability to create reports/analysis in addition to updating complex pre-built reports
**Qualifications**:
- Any accountancy or payroll qualifications would be desirable
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £1.00 per year
Expected hours: 18 - 37 per week
