**Our Business**

Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.

**The Opportunity**

We are now recruiting for a Mechanical Technical Authority at our Head Office, reporting directly to the Head of Technical Engineering. The Technical Authority (TA) will act as the senior engineer for mechanical engineering within px operations. For this role, mechanical engineering is a broad field including, but not limited to, pressure containment, storage tanks, rotating equipment, civils and structures. The TA will ensure engineering risks are managed and will assure adherence to sound engineering practices, standards and processes across all operations related to their discipline.

You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in relevant Engineering discipline
- Considerable experience in high hazard industries (oil & Gas, power generation, gas processing)
- Strong knowledge across mechanical engineering fields (pressure containment, storage tanks, rotating equipment)
- Experienced in regulatory compliance and adherence to engineering standards
- Development of KPIs / PSPIs
