As part of the TÜV family Risktec Resourcing have been tasked to assist our sister company TÜV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) in recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer for our Warrington or Stockton-on-Tees office.
Job Description
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget. You will work alongside a principal consultant on all types of project sizes and complexities, with a particular emphasis on delivering project and technical engineering solutions for clients, following an agile approach to identify new and more efficient ways of working.
Requirements
* At least 10 years’ experience working in a relevant engineering field.
* A strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and a passion for innovation.
* Experience of using design software tools including E3D, Finglow and stress analysis programmes
* Experience in design verification of piping and mechanical installations
* Experience in piping and mechanical design
* Sound understanding of international and national standards
* Minimum 2:1 Degree level qualified in a relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline
* Effective communication skills and be customer focused. Able to manage uncertain and complex situations.
* Clean UK Driving License.
* Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate, with a drive to develop and further their career.
* Engineering and Operating experience working in High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals Industry (desirable)
* Chartered member of relevant institution e.g. Institution of Mechanical Engineers
